A new era in TMD self-management—launching soon.

Following the success of JawSpace V1—and shaped by valuable feedback from both users and clinicians—we’re proud to announce the upcoming release of JawSpace V2, our most comprehensive update yet.

Developed in collaboration with researchers and clinicians from Newcastle University, V2 builds on everything our community loved, while introducing deeper tailoring, a redesigned experience, and expanded support tools for people living with Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD).

Grounded in current research and best-practice principles for conservative TMD care, V2 offers improved structure, clearer guidance, and a more intuitive way to integrate evidence-informed self-care into everyday life.

To ensure safe and appropriate use across regions, JawSpace V2 will be released in two versions:

Lifestyle version (Non-medical device)

Launching globally, the lifestyle version includes features such as guided routines, symptom logging, and self-care resources. It is suitable for individuals who wish to better understand and manage their jaw-related symptoms through evidence-informed self-management strategies.

Available worldwide from late April 2025.

Medical device version (SaMD)

The medical version of JawSpace is being developed as a regulated Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). It will include a guided self-assessment designed to help users reflect on their symptoms, and a structured self-management plan aligned with internationally recognised principles of conservative care for TMD.

Planned regional rollout:

  • 🇦🇺 Australia – TGA submission (April 2025)

  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom – MHRA registration (May 2025)

  • 🇺🇸 United States – FDA submission (mid–2025)

  • 🇪🇺 Europe – CE marking to follow

The lifestyle version will remain accessible where the medical version is not yet available.
